Sale Polices

• Reservations from Luna Acres Dairy Goats gives you first option AFTER any retained kids in order of reservations received, unless a priority reservation comes in. We reserve the right to retain ANY kid bred by our farm at any time, at our discretion.
• If you would like to reserve a kid, we ask that you send a deposit of $100 per kid ordered
• When reserving a kid, please include your first and second choice with your deposit
• All breeding's are subject to change until the doe is confirmed bred by ultrasound or blood test.
• Reservations will close at 2 does and 2 bucks (if applicable)
• We do not accept reservations based on coat or eye color.
• If your reservation becomes available the balance must be paid in full within 14 days of receiving notice from us and picked up within 4 weeks, unless prior arrangements have been made, kid is to be dam raised, bottled raised by us, or stay on our farm longer for any reason. Contracts not paid and picked up on time will be deemed void and the kid will be offered for sale to a new home. Deposits or any money paid toward the balance of the goat will not be refunded. 
• If your reservation is rolled over from a prior year and the price of offspring goes up, the new price also applies to your reservation. 
• Goats are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. Once an animal leaves our property, no guarantee is extended.  
• We only sell our goats to homes that already have goats, or plan on multi purchases.  Goats are herd animals and require other goats for companionship.  NO exceptions. 
• If you are purchasing a wether as a companion to another animal purchased from us, the wether will be offered at a discounted price. Bucks that are to be wethered will not leave the farm until they are castrated at 10-12 weeks. Please note; we reserve the right to refuse weathering any buck.  ​​
• All our pregnant does receive CD/T vaccines approximately 4 weeks before they kid in order to pass immunities on to their offspring. All kids will be disbuded as needed and receive booster CD/T vaccines at 4 and 8 weeks of age and we highly recommend giving your goats CD/T every 4 to 6 months after. 
• We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone.

​Deposits
Deposits are non refundable, except if a reserved kid does not become available. In this case you may request that your deposit be returned, applied to another goat, or rolled over to the next breeding season.  

Performance Herd Priority
Reservation priority will be given to show and milk test homes. If you are not on milk test or do not show and a reservation comes in that does, it will take priority.

​First Right of Refusal
If in the future you decide to sell your Luna Acre's goat, we request the first right of refusal at fair market value.
